Island Heritage Conservancy
Washington Island Heritage Conservancy Corp was formed for the intial task of saving the historic site of Thorstein Veblen's Cabin. Thorstein Veblen is an extremely important founder of the field of Institutional Economics, Political Economics and Economic Sociology.
The Island Heritage Conservancy has broadened its scope and promotes not only the initial project, but several ethnic heritage projects on the Island.
