Wisconsin Historical Society - The Wisconsin Historical Society was founded before Wisconsin became a state, and it ranks as one of the largest, most active, and most diversified state historical societies in the nation. It is both a state agency and a private membership organization.

Old World Wisconsin - a vivid re-creation of the working farmsteads and settlements established by European immigrants in America's heartland

Wisconsin's Ethnic Settlement Trail - provides guides and tours to Wisconsin's Ethnic Heritage.

Wisconsin Barns - The University of Wisconsin-Extension, along with the Wisconsin Historical Society, are spearheading a multifaceted approach aimed at saving many of Wisconsin's historic agricultural buildings.

Wisconsin Round Barns - A small subset of pictures of round barns and buildings in Wisconsin.

Folklore Village - is a nationally recognized folk arts and culture center dedicated to enriching lives through time-honored tradition located in Dodgeville Wisconsin.

Herlache Heritage Foundation - invities local charities to submit ideas which foster the appreciation, enhancement and preservation of historical landmarks and the cultural heritage of Door County, Wisconsin.

Door County Community Foundation - a collection of separate charitable funds set up by individuals, families, non-profit organizations, private foundations and businesses that are managed, invested and disbursed for the current and future good of Door County.

Jeffris Family Foundation - is dedicated to Wisconsin's cultural history and heritage through preserving regionally and nationally important historic buildings and decorative arts projects.

Raibrook Foundation - a Door County foudation whose goal is to support nonprofit organizations in projects related to education, recreation and history.

Centreville Settlement - read about this not for profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to preserving the farming heritage in the Centerville area. This is a unique organization that provides opportunities for the general public to participate in restoration and hands on learning.
